Delta Omega Kappa, DOK for short, is an academic, pre-health, Greek letter organization at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. As of May 26, 2016, DOK has been an accredited organization at the university for 35 years. As an organization, we focus on scholarship, leadership, service and self-respect. Delta Omega Kappa participates in philanthropies, fundraisers, sisterhood events, and themed gatherings with fraternities. We also have date parties and formals every year that we hold at various locations around Columbus and other surrounding areas. Our main philanthropy is with Nationwide Children's Hospital, for which DOK raises money throughout the year and makes tie blankets and other crafts for the children.
One thing that makes us different from everyone else is that we are the only pre-health sorority at Ohio State! DOK has girls from tons of different health majors, but we are all united in reaching our medically-related goals. Being at such a huge university can be overwhelming and very stressful at times, but DOK can give you a place to call home. Every active member of DOK can truly say that the organization has helped them in many different ways. Whether it's dealing with a tough class or dealing with problems at home, the girls you will meet in DOK will be there for you every step of the way. At the end of the day, the sisterly bond that all of our active members (and we can't forget all of our amazing Alum!) have created together is something that will last a lifetime!
